Celebrating World Earth Day

Every year in April, we commemorate Earth Day, which presents a valuable occasion for reflecting on our planet's well-being. It is crucial to recognize that the decisions we make on a daily basis carry significant implications.

At OROMEN, we do our part to take action and find ways to better protect the environment in which we live.

Start making a difference today with our guide of action items to make this world greener.

See What We Do For The Environment

1.    Plastic-free commitment

All OROMEN clothing fabrics are made of 100% organic cotton/lyocell fiber/natural linen and other natural renewable and biodegradable fibers.

At the same time, we also strictly follow environmental protection principles in clothing accessories and reject all plastic and chemical ingredients. Our buttons use natural coconut buttons and shell buttons, our clothing size labels and wash labels use renewable wood pulp paper, and our clothing packaging uses kraft paper. We will not involve polyester fibers.

We're very excited about what's to come. With continued growth and continued development, we look forward to becoming an even more zero-waste, plastic-free, and sustainable fashion brand.

2.    Partnering with environmental agencies to promote reforestation and carbon recycling

For every order we receive, a formula is used to calculate the estimated shipping emissions. Based on those estimates, a portion of our revenue goes to carbon removal companies that have been vetted by scientists from Carbon Direct. Those companies use that money to remove however much carbon our shipments created. Any extra funds go toward the further development of carbon removal technologies.

At the same time, we also joined Mast Reforestation’s afforestation program.
Mast Reforestation combines proven forestry practices with new technology to regrow healthy, resilient, climate-adapted forests lost to wildfires. Mast’s services include seed collection, seedling cultivation, reforestation services, and financing based on high-quality carbon removal credits.

3.    Recycled paper packaging bags

Recycled pulp is a cellulosic material obtained by recycling waste paper and subjecting it to pulping, bleaching and other processing processes. The fiber length of recycled pulp is relatively short and the quality is slightly worse than virgin wood pulp. However, the manufacturing process of recycled pulp is environmentally friendly, saving resources and reducing waste.

We use recycled paper pulp to make packaging bags. Unlike the common plastic packaging bags on the market, they can be reused and can be used to store shirts, documents or laptops. If you no longer need the bag and throw it away, it is biodegradable and recyclable in the environment.

4. Some small accessories on shirts

The accessories on the shirts can also reflect our environmentally friendly details. Whether it is natural coconut buttons or various small labels, they are all environmentally friendly.

The world has recognized that we need to take action and find ways to better protect the environment in which we live. At Oromen, we focus on doing our part and thanking all others who are doing the same.

Happy Earth Day!!!
